Koolifilm Festival 2024, organised by Kinomaja Filmikool and Kino Artis will take place in Tallinn October 31st – Nov 1.
- COMPETITION CATEGORIES
Koolifilm Festival 2023 is holding competitions in the following categories:

- TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION
Only films completed after January 1 2023 and no more than 15 minutes in length will be considered for selection by the jury.
Films must have at least a director and cinematographer of the ages 14-19. Ideally the rest of the film team is also majorly of this age bracket (not including actors.) Films made in university are not accepted.
Films may be of any genre, and filmed and/or animated in any technique. Only completed films will be considered for selection.
- SUBMISSION
Submission is free of charge.
All films, regardless of language, need to be submitted with English subtitles in a SRT file.
Film submissions will be accepted until September 1st 2024. Film submissions will not be admitted after this date.
If the submitter does not provide a screener link (a YouTube, vimeo, or google drive link to view the film) then the submission will be disqualified.
Upon positive selection, the festival will contact the submitter and request a final cinema screening file.
Selection results will be sent individually to the submitters through their provided email during September.
If a submitted film is selected into the program then the director(s) will be provided a full festival accreditation (festival pass) and access to master classes and events for free. Transport and accommodation is not provided by the festival.
