About Us
In 2022, two directors – Eva Kübar and Liina Särkinen – who had previously taught filmmaking to young people in various schools and camps, decided it was time to open a dedicated film home for youth, where they could explore the world of cinema more thoroughly. Kinomaja Film School opened its doors in the fall of 2022, launching with three groups – two Estonian-speaking and one international group with English as the working language.
